One of the Anchors that stabilized the Good News is Salvation that have revealed GOD’S Love for mankind through the Death and Ressurection of JESUS CHRIST.
In the begining Man was created with GOD’S full Glory but Adam’s disobedience fall short the Glory of GOD_which gave birth to sin. Adam who was so close to GOD hid from him when he disobeyed GOD(Genesis 3:10).
Genesis chapter 3 explained how God’s Glory which was perfect was tampered with because of disobedience and as a result man was doomed to die; GOD’S Spirit in man was revoked as a result of this disobedience but GOD’S Love for man declared the promise of Salvation. Sin hid Man from GOD by enslaving him but GOD’S Grace have established Salvation through Christ who have reconciled GOD and Sinners.
Salvation came to mankind through JESUS CHRIST by GOD’S Grace; Matthew 1:21 and John 1:14 explained how GOD’S Promise for salvation was established through JESUS who was born to save GOD’S Chosen people from their sin. JESUS was Sacrificed for our sake to redeem us from sin and bring us Home safely to GOD.
GOD’S Love for mankind manifested him to Give up his only begotten son for man’s sake (John 3:16), Christ’s love for mankind manifested him to give up his life for us so that we can be saved and this was evidently proved when he said no one can take his life from him except he gives his life up willingly. And he revealed his Glory to his Disciples and promise to share his Glory with them as it is written in John 14:1-4. So we can say Salvation is the product of GOD’S Love for Man and the expression of Christ Love for Mankind.
Sin dominates the World GOD created because of the Disobedience of one Man(Adam) but GOD in his wonderful Grace and Mercy brought Salvation to mankind, to save them from the wages of Sin which is eternal death and destruction, giving them eternal life and Peace. And as a result the new hope(Covenant) of reconciliation between GOD and Man was established through JESUS CHRIST.
And as a Result;
- The Nature of Sin and Evil is defeated.
- Doors of Spiritual Blessings from Heaven is opened to Man.
- The Old Covenant of Law is fufiled and a new covenant have been established.
- New Life of Righteousness is Secured.
Salvation reveals the Truth that stands firm like a foundation stone with this inscription GOD knows his people and his people have been given the tittle of sonship.
The Word of Truth(John 1:1) became flesh and dwell among humans to offer them salvation(John 1:14) but not everyone accepted it. He came to the world to save it from eternal destruction but the people he came to save did not recognize him. Jesus uttered his Message of Salvation in Matthew 9:13 when he said, “Now go and learn the meaning of this Scripture: ‘I want you to show mercy, not offer sacrifices.’ For I have come to call not those who think they are righteous, but those who know they are sinners.”
JESUS have come to call all sinners to repentance so that they can be saved from eternal death and destruction: the wages of sin(Romans 6:23). And more to his message of Salvation he said; There’s more Joy over a Lost Sheep than 99 sheeps that is not lost; that is, there’s more Joy in Heaven over a sinner who repents that over 99 Who need no repentance. But many people are ignorant of his message of Salvation, despite the miracles he performed, his divine wisdom, the explaination of his purpose by other prophets and many more proofs that he is the Savior; the Messiah; and the chosen one, they still question and deny his identity. JESUS Said to them “I know my sheep and my sheep know me(John 10:26-27)”.
Those who question JESUS’ authority are not his sheep because his sheep knows his voice and obey his command without questioning. To all who receive him, Believe in him, acknowledge him and obey God’s will, he have given the gift of eternal Life and they will never perish and more to that no one can snatch them away from him because God All-Powerful have given them to him.
If we say obedience to God’s Law makes us righteous or disobedience to God’s law makes us sinners then what of those that existed before Moses(for we all know that the law was given during Moses time). Sin has taken its root from Evil since the time of Adam to all his descendants. That’s why many people who are counted to be righteous before salvation was established, have faith in GOD which has nothing to do with obeying the Law.
Many people who pleased GOD before CHRIST was born Have Faith in Salvation; Hebrews 11 explained how People like Enoch, Noah, Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Joseph, Moses and many more believed in Salvation and the evidence of their Faith was established and Expressed. They all pleased GOD and Trust GOD’S Will. Those who receive the message of Salvation are united in one Faith whose Foundation is Love and this Love is built in a Solid rock that The power of death cannot defeat. For it was this same Love that manifested JESUS to give us his Life to save ours.
Likewise, we must prove our Faith in Christ by obeying GOD’S words and Trust His Will.
Now! Obedience to God’s Law is made established through Love. When Christ came he destroyed sin the root of Evil, He saved us from the boundage of sin and imprinted GOD’S Law in our Heart. Despite the fact that all flesh are born in sin because of Adam’s disobedience Christ who also came as flesh never sinned rather he conquered sin. He gave all flesh who believed in him the power to conquer sin. JESUS did not only defeat sin he also replaced the wages of sin(eternal death and distruction) with eternal Life and Peace.
Sin is now powerless and helpless by GOD’S Grace through Christ who have saved those who believe in him. As it is written in in Mark 16:16 that Anyone who believes and is baptized will be saved. But anyone who refuses to believe will be condemned. Therefore in Christ there is no sin nor Condemnation and there is no death because we are all under the Grace of GOD that have established Salvation through Christ and redeemed those who believe and accept him. JESUS has given those who accept him the title of Sonship so that we can awake in his likeness and enjoy the reward and gift of Eternal life. The witness to this title is the Holy Spirit who is given to all who accept him and Believed in him.
JESUS took the blame for all sins so that we might die to sin and Live to righteousness, He brought Salvation to save us from our sins as it written in (Matt 1:21). Salvation is not by Christ’s wound but by His Death and his righteous Life. We are not only saved by his death and resurrection but by his righeous Life. JESUS is the Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world as it is written in (John 1:29). The Life of any creature is in it’s Blood; Salvation is in Christ’s Precious Blood. Yes, he gave up his Life(Precious Blood) of us, JESUS death was the price of atonement for all sins (Rom. 5:8; 1 Cor. 15:3; 1Peter 2:24) which brought about Grace. Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved for he said ” Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me; for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.” (Matt11:29-30).
It is possible for someone to believe he has genuine faith and repentance, but to be mistaken (John 2:23-24). And it is possible for one to believe the genuine facts, about Jesus yet still be unsaved (James 2:19). JESUS himself declared that “Not everyone who calls out to me, ‘Lord! Lord!’ will enter the Kingdom of Heaven. Only those who actually do the will of our Father in heaven will enter. On judgment day many will say to him, ‘Lord! Lord! We prophesied in your name and cast out demons in your name and performed many miracles in your name.’ But he will reply, ‘I never knew you. Get away from me, you who break God’s laws.’
It is sometimes the case is that people doubt their salvation due to fear But this fear is unjustified. Remember that it was doubt that stirred up disobedience in the Eden when Adam and Eve doubted GOD’S Instruction and ate the Fruit GOD Commanded them not to eat. Therefore, don’t doubt the salvation that is evident in your life, but rather have the reason to confidently believe the salvation that is evident in your life by Sanctifying yourself in the Truth and having Faith In Christ.
The Evidence of having Faith in Christ is Obeying His commandment that is embedded on Love as it is written in (John 13:34) and Confirmed in (1John 2:3). For you were once enslaved to sin that is Judged by GOD’S Law but now GOD’S Grace have saved you from Sin and Judgement through Christ.
Salvation from eternal death and destruction is in Christ, The reward of eternal Life and Peace in Christ
If there’s anyone that is lost and wandering in the desert of lies and with no food nor water searching for the way out.
JESUS is always ready to save you because
- JESUS is the only way out.
- Only JESUS have the Truth in him.
- JESUS is offering you the Bread of Life and the Living water.
- Follow him now and let him set you on the path of the Truth.
- Let him give you the food and drink that will satisfy you forever.
- Believe that you are saved by his Blood.
- Confess your sins now and let the Holy Spirit dwell in you to teach you, guide you, equip you and Prepare you for the Glory we will Inherit in Christ.
The only way to Freedom is through JESUS CHRIST. Before Christ came Salvation is Hope, After Christ’s Ascension Salvation is a Fufilment. The new hope now is the Glorious reward that awaits those who abides in Christ and I pray we will all awake in that Glorious Likeness in JESUS Name…Amen.
